[Letter] 1793 November 25, Fort Washington [to] J[oseph] Howell, [Philadelphia].

Swan, Paymaster of the United States Army, reports that he has sent Howell his papers and accounts. Requests that Howell send three months pay for the Legion, and an extra requisition for subsistence as soon as possible. Reports that Indians had attacked his convoy of provisiions coming into Fort Washington, and that he expects an attack upon leaving.
